Objective of the event
Unicon was initiated to establish Thousand Faces (TF) as a thought leader by engaging creatives globally. The primary goal was to foster long-term partnerships aimed at enriching the creative journey for TF's followers. Furthermore, the event aimed to serve as a platform for creator brands, providing them with an opportunity to showcase products tailored for creators and establishing meaningful connections within the creative community. Unicon also served as a promotional avenue for Phyllo (Insight IQ), an internally developed platform designed for creators and brands interested in influencer marketing.
The challenge - Striking the right balance
It was necessary to create a distinct identity for the event while still tying it back to Thousand Faces. The identity had to make a statement but not feel disconnected from the overall brand family. It was essential for the brand to resonate with creators while also appealing to the broader audience associated with the event. Recognizing the potential evolution of the event the identity needed to be designed with the flexibility to adapt, ensuring it could evolve without compromising its fundamental essence.
The solution - Embracing future proof trends
The design of the brand identity took into account TF's identity and visual language, ensuring a seamless connection to the established brand family. Balancing simplicity and uniqueness, a touch of quirkiness was infused through the arrangement of elements in the logo structure, utilizing vibrant colors and complimentary visual elements. Three additional hues were introduced to expand and compliment TF's color palette. The remaining colors from the palette served as secondary tones in various design elements, adding depth and cohesion to the overall visual language.
Adopting empowering tone of voice
The language and copy were carefully crafted to resonate with the unique lingo of the creator community, offering encouragement and unwavering support. This ensured authentic and relatable communication , fostering a sense of empowerment. The approach aimed to capture the event's essence, establish a connection with the audience, and underscore UniCon's commitment to nurturing the creative journey.
As the brand identity evolved, it directly shaped the aesthetic and functional elements of the website, ensuring coherence and alignment across all the brand touchpoints.
